Our founder, Blessed Father Michael J McGivney, had a vision that established our brotherhood of local councils and, through fraternity, have its members strengthen their faith and family relationships. Our order’s family programs were created to bolster these relationships by serving our parishes and the needs of others. Although some family needs may be similar to those in the past, today’s “blended family” needs are different and thus have changed the interactions among our members and church. Therefore, besides the programs listed to your left, I am asking you to “think outside the traditional family nucleus” and create programs and projects that could include “blended families.” All our State Programs require a chairman, and many require Diocese leaders. Please get in touch with me if you have a passion for a family program or want to become a leader.
