My Brother Knights,
Greetings from the flatlands down Jersey!
As I am sure you are aware, the explosive wildfires on the Hawaiian island of Maui have killed dozens of people, displaced thousands, and reduced much of the area to ash.
Our Brother Knights in Hawaii need our support in the form of a cash infusion to help them serve their community.
I am reaching out to you tonight to consider making a chapter/federation, council, or personal donation to the New Jersey State Council Disaster Relief fund.
Your State Council will start with a donation of $1000.00.
We will collect monies for the next two weeks and send that directly to The Hawaiian State Council.
Then over the course of the next two weeks, if Supreme Council offers matching funds we will direct our second donation through Supreme.
Any funds collected after that will be donated at the recommendation of the Hawaiian State Deputy.
Mail donations to:
NJ State Council Knights of Columbus
PO Box 221
Budd Lake, NJ, 07828-0221
Please make a notation for “Hawaiian Disaster Relief.”
Thank you all in advance for your consideration, sacrifice, and action.
May God bless you and your family in abundance for all you do in His name through our Order of Columbian Knights!
Yours in friendship and fraternity,
Raymond Sands
State Deputy
NJ State Council, Knights of Columbus
